ARTICLES OF FAITH

We Believe:

​

• That the scriptures were given by inspiration of God; and are the final rule of 
Christian faith and practice

​

• In one God, who is eternal, perfect, and sovereign over all things

 

• In the unity of the one God – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; undivided 
in essence and co-equal in power and glory

 

• That all men have sinned, and are totally unable to save themselves from sin 
apart from God’s initial act grace and mercy upon their lives

 

• That Jesus the Messiah lived a sinless life and died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice to bear the sins of the world; that He was buried and on the third day 
rose bodily from the dead, and gives eternal life to those who would believe in 
Him

 

• That repentance towards God, faith in Jesus the Messiah, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit are necessary to salvation

 

• That we are justified by grace, through faith in our Lord Jesus; and that each individual believer is made pure, kept holy and privileged to be empowered to live Godly in this present age

 

• That the ministry of the church is primarily the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus the Messiah, to reach the lost and hurting, and teach and instruct those 
who subscribe to the faith according to the Scriptures

 

• That the church must pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and for the redemption of the nation of Israel

 

• In the literal return of the Messiah Jesus, to receive the righteous, judge the wicked, and establish His kingdom

 

• In the immortality of the soul; in eternal life of the righteous, and in the endless 
punishment of the wicked

 

• In the ordinances of Holy Communion and Water Baptism by immersion

 

• That the highest calling of man is to love God with all his heart, soul and might, 
and to love his neighbor as himself.
